Get Out Of Your Fashion Comfort Zone

When you are a self-proclaimed "type A", you are the kind of person that will try to plan every major milestone in your life. Well at least I do, so for us type-A, it's a big deal when you decide to take a leap of faith and step out of your comfort zone. There are some folks whose closet consists of only black pieces - while I do love my basics: black, white, navy, and gray, I also enjoy playing with color. On the reverse, I also stick to what I know; timeless chic classics.

Starting a blog and displaying my personal style and creative writing for the world to judge is my version of getting out of my comfort zone.

My style ethos is direct - street-chic with a modern edge. While I love playing with prints - you likely won't catch me in a bright floral shift dress (think Lily Pulitzer or Trina Turk). A product of my planning habit is pre-empting what the outcome will be. At this moment, I have no idea where this will go or where it can take me but I am allowing myself to be carried by the journey, no pre-plans included ;)

So while I work on trying to get out of my comfort zone, experimenting with fashion and improving my writing - no harm in staying in my lane while I figure it out.

So I highly recommend you go out and get a pair of boyfriend jeans, a chic pair of navy suede pumps and a bomb ass blazer that can be worn so many ways!

(P.S. I hope you noticed that my blazer has smidgets of color!)
