I was a tomboy growing up – and because we didn’t live in the safest of neighborhoods growing up, my dad enrolled us in Taekwondo, which also inspired my tomboy, easy attire.

My dad was a man of style and I too made sure my style was on-point – I was never a girl who was into florals and ultra-feminine prints. So when I spotted this bomber, I was surprised by my instant attraction, it has the perfect combination of soft pretty florals, with some edge. It also has various shades of green (which happens to be my favorite color) and I immediately thought - this is the perfect spring jacket.

I love bombers because they are so versatile and can give your outfit an instant edge – even if you happen to have a pretty dress underneath. I’ve also been on the hunt for these Barbara Bui mesh wingtip oxfords that I spotted in the Intermix catalog a few months back. All I needed was a hint from Mother Nature that she would let the sun come out to play and I was ready for the spring.
